Normally, “height” is influenced by genetics, race, parental height, and environments including exercise, diet, stress, and, another factor approved by research that importantly affects to child's height, especially when your child is going to be a teenager, is “sleep”
During sleep, your body releases a hormone named “ growth hormone” which is an important hormone for growth and height in children and adolescents. Generally, “ growth hormone” is released when you sleep tight, and it is mostly produced from 5 pm to 2 am. <./p>
Therefore, extreme sleeping late, especially after midnight, reduces growth hormone. Moreover, if you always stay up late in a long term, it can affect your height growth.
The best sleep habit to stimulate “ growth hormone” is going to bed before 10 pm to sleep tight during the growth hormone peak. In addition, you should sleep at least 8 hours per night. This habit is also good for adults. Although “ growth hormone” does not affect to growth, it works on anti-aging causing a younger appearance and good health.
